This site serves as home to the Brevard County Public Works Department. Please use the navigation icons on right and left of page to access individual program information.
The Public Works Department is made up of the following programs:
- Road and Bridge - Administers the maintenance of all County roadways, drainage structures, ditches and canals, and the design, installation and maintenance of landscaping projects on County roads and facilities. In addition, the program includes the Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) and special assessments area. The Customer Service area provides citizens support and referrals.
- Transportation Construction Management - Administers the design, construction and maintenance of transportation improvement projects funded through gas tax and locally collected impact fees.
- Engineering - Oversees all signage, signalization and striping.
- Survey & Mapping - Consists of surveying services, vacating, right-of-way use agreements, and map reproduction.
The Department Director is John Denninghoff, PE, with Edward Gardulski serving as Road and Bridge Assistant Director.
