Harriet has been employed with Brevard County since 1974. She began her career in the Traffic Engineering Section as a Secretary, where she worked for 15 years. She has been employed in her current position since 1989. Harriet is a native Floridian, and has been recognized by the Metropolitan Planning Agency for her leadership and contributions to bicycle and pedestrian safety.

Bruce is a graduate of Wagner College in Staten Island New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He began his employment with Brevard County in 1989. He has a total of thirty-five years of engineering and construction experience. This includes twenty-five years in Transportation Engineering (mass transit, roadway engineering and bridges), and ten years in stress engineering, design and construction of power plants.
