Keith began his employment with Brevard County in 1976 as a maintenance worker for South Area Road & Bridge. With experience in the private sector as an equipment operator, Keith easily transitioned into the position of Heavy Equipment Operator. Over the next eight years, his exceptional skill on the gradall, as well as his leadership abilities prepared him for selection as Project Supervisor (1985). In 1987 he was again promoted to Road Supervisor. He has served as South Area Superintendent since 1989.
